FM1 i INNOVUS actually begins the workorder process by acting as a call taker system, allowing users to request maintenance using their PC, while at the same time restricting FM1 ASP access to specific information contained in the web page. In addition, a designated Authorizer must approve each request before it can become a workorder in FM1i INNOVUS.

Parts / tools can be ordered via the shopping cart functionality of FM1i INNOVUS, without bypassing proper inventory control practices. E-mails can keep those involved in the work flow process up to date on the progress of the request / workorder. The web page also allows each requester to periodically check the status of their request anytime, day or night, without the need for direct contact with the maintenance department.

The Check Workorder Request Status page is designed to be simple and easy to use. As a request is approved or denied, the user receives an e-mail confirming the current status of that request. Within FM1i INNOVUS, each user (even guests, if allowed) is able to check the status of their individual requests.

FM1i INNOVUS utilizes large table management to keep the amount of data traveling over the WEB to a minimum. Selection engine screens allow the user to reduce the data to a manageable, efficient result. The benefits include speed and optimization of bandwidth usage.

In FM1i INNOVUS, workorders are created for objects (items, buildings, departments, locations, etc.) such that no work is left un-captured. Server listeners create changes in workorders and schedules based on the rules established by the CMMS user.The Inventory Module can track multiple stores at multiple sites with multiple locations for each part.

Contract cost management and critical path planning are integrated into project management. Projects are built on workorders that track all associated costs. FM1 ASP automatically creates Preventive Maintenance (PM) workorders on pre-established schedules. Full histories of all preventive and corrective work are readily available via Crystal Reports, including the ability to publish web-enabled reports on demand. Equipment warranties are tracked down to the component level with warnings that prevent lost value. Failure codes, including vandalism, are tracked on all workorders.
