Planet FM - Facilities Management Software

With Planet FM you can make the informed decisions needed to control budgets and obtain best value from Service Contracts. It helps you to ensure compliance with H&S regulations and provide a safe working environment. You can use the comprehensive Planned Maintenance tools to reduce energy and operating costs and extend asset service life by implementing schedules of regular maintenance services and inspections.

Buildings, Space and Assets
Planet FM enables you to create a hierarchy of Locations and Assets that reflects the structure of your buildings whether they be a single large corporate headquarters, an NHS Trust on several sites or a chain of retail outlets. You can record information such as tenants, leases, utility companies, and security access and car parking for each Location.

Different types of space within each building can be classified using recognised RICS conventions. Different categories of occupier and departments can be defined and the system will identify under and over utilised areas and calculate shared costs.

You can link Locations to CAD drawings to view floor plans and technical drawings such as electrical installation and ductwork diagrams.

The Condition Survey facility enables you to identify elements such as Windows, Flooring and Furniture - log their condition at the time of the survey - and prepare a long term plan of work required and likely expenditure. You then can see the financial effects of deferring work, and prepare alternative cost plans. Assets can range from Lifts and HVAC equipment to IT Equipment, Furniture and portable electrical appliances. Your staff will have instant access to information about manufacturers, maintenance schedules, spares and prices, warranties, and lifetime costs.
