ABS Order Management
Description ABS Order Management provides the specialized flexibility required to support today’s fast-paced business-to-business and business-to-consumer invoicing requirements of retail and wholesale organizations.
The system supports multiple shipping facilities allowing a company to determine how best to source product for their customers. Its pricing routines provide for exception or custom pricing at the item level for both warehouse selling prices and store retails.
The system can handle both pre and post-billed invoices and allows for billing of variable-weight items using average or actual weight. The credit and charge sub-system provides for complete control and reporting of credits, returns, and miscellaneous billing transactions by referencing them to the original customer invoice. A cafeteria plan for fees is available to charge customers for the services used, and provides an incentive to optimize distribution costs.
OMI’s ABS Order Management System is installed in both wholesale and retail distribution operations providing the flexibility to bill for all activity with prices and margins that reflect true costs and competitive retail pricing.
