BCL SECPublisher is a document conversion tool that formats documents so that they may be submitted to the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system used by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

The SEC encourages companies to use PDF files, but only as unofficial copies. For documents to be considered official by the SEC, they must be filed in:

HTML 3.2, or
ASCII/SGML text formats
However, most documents are not formatted in pure ASCII or HTML. Spreadsheets, tables, charts, graphics, and text can be saved in a wide variety of file formats and PDF (Portable Document Format) is the preferred format for such documents because it preserves the fonts, formatting, colors and graphics of the original document.

BCL SECPublisher allows you to submit any document to the SEC regardless of its original file format. Just as any document can be converted to PDF, SECPublisher will generate SEC compliant HTML 3.2, or RTF. The original layout of the document is preserved, complete with graphics, tables, text, lines, hyperlinks, and bookmarks. Once the conversion is complete, all you need to do is submit your output to EDGAR!
