WMS Imaging Server
Description
WMS Imaging Server (1.x) is a comprehensive set of imaging services that can be integrated with line of business applications in a distributed network environment. By adding imaging to an application, businesses gain better control over all of their paper-based information, while improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. Adding imaging capabilities to an application makes it easier to track, store, retrieve and distribute paper based information to your customers and within your organization. Documents can be entered into the WMS Imaging Server 1.x system using capture solutions such as Kodak Capture Software for eiStream Systems, WMS Scan Station or a 3rd-party product like Kofax Ascent or Captivas InputAccel.
WMS Imaging Server can be integrated with applications running on the Windows, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris operating systems. The imaging services support production level document image functions across widely distributed enterprise networks. WMS Imaging Server software provides support for distributed image and file management services. Used in conjunction with eiStream Imaging for Windows, WMS Imaging Server provides complete capture, file, search, and retrieval capabilities for images in networked applications. Using the services and features provided by WMS Imaging Server, businesses can provide a comprehensive paperless environment for customers eliminating the costs associated with the preparation, distribution and storage of paper based content.
