DX Record
Description
A key to successful electronic management of document output is the ability to quickly ingest, index, and digitize any print stream regardless of complexity or format. In cases where regulatory compliance or disaster recovery elements are important, it is also crucial that the print streams are not altered or permanently transformed to a secondary format when being stored, delivered, or retrieved.
DX Record is unrivaled in the management of high-volume, format/graphic-rich print streams including DJDE, Metacode, AFP, PostScript, and PCL. In some cases, less complex documents can be processed at rates exceeding ten million pages per hour. Although DX Record can process a variety of print streams, the end result is always the same—an electronic replica of the hard copy.
Strong compression algorithms ensure that documents are stored in a space and time-efficient manner. This means that valuable storage drives are never wasted, and that search and retrieval results normally take about the same amount of time as a typical Internet search engine. Data processed by DX Record can be viewed and searched directly from a CD, DVD, or networked station using DX View, or on the Web using DX Server.
Highlights:
Unrivaled in management of complex, format-rich content and multiple input formats—Metacode, AFP, PCL, PostScript, Line data, etc. High-speed processing and compression (millions of pages per hour) Can process multiple report or document types simultaneously Multi-platform support Strong compression algorithms allow storage of up to 500,000 pages on CD-ROM or 3.5 million pages on DVD Size efficiency minimizes the amount of space needed for storage, network, or Internet active environments One process does it all. Offers a unified approach to Web enablement and government regulated archival of your enterprise output content, which can be Internet active and stored on WORM media or device
