e2econnect Core is an XML based document management system. It allows businesses to map the information flow in their dynamicecosystem using XMLs and also to define data interchanges (vocabularies) for interactions in their ecosystem. It provides a scalable system that manages the interchange of business documents based on well-defined and configurable information flow logic.

It offers functionality for registration and management of services, brokering, and mediation between services. The Core also handles routing of messages to appropriate services depending on the functionality offered by the services. User authentication and storage of messages (in case a particular service is not running at a particular time) is also done by the central system.
