iDel
Description
iDel is a new module which provides Intelligent Electronic Document Delivery (EDD, ESP, EBP) capability, dramatically reducing the cost of generating and delivering Customer facing documents. The new module improves DSO / debtor days, whilst leveraging existing IT infrastructure and technology investments.
Traditional print streams are received by iDel, securely archived, and then automatically split according to pre-defined document delivery requirements, such as print, fax, email, etc.
Customers requiring electronic document delivery are immediately notified by email that new documents such as Invoices, Statements and Contract Notes, are available for download from a secure website, eliminating the costs and delays associated with print and post.
Full audit reporting is provided to establish when documents were delivered. Escalation and exception reporting procedures are also available to alert Customer Service contacts in the event that documents are not downloaded within a pre-defined time.
Documents may be delivered in PDF format to ensure content integrity, or in a form more appropriate for the delivery mechanism (HTML or SMS, for example).
