How iMagio mirror works
Critical Technologies provides a hot, instantly usable repository site. To begin with, we establish a repository for your documents at our site, you would think of this as an application in your system. This repository has exactly the same index structure as your primary system. We then build queries that match the queries that your people use on their primary system every day. Next, we do an electronic conversion of the existing images that are on your primary system, these are the historical documents that you already have. We convert from your backup platters, or tapes, DVD and many other medias. We then do extensive testing with the data that we have converted. During this conversion process we also strip out any proprietary headers and we convert your images to a non-proprietary Tiff Group IV image.
