SearchExpress Document Management allows you to search up to one billion documents, and find any document in a matter of seconds.

And, search words are highlighted in the document, so your information is truly at your fingertips.

Save time spent finding your documents.

Full-text Retrieval lets you quickly find documents by their content, i.e., words or phrases in the documents.


Search and retrieve documents in a wide variety of different file formats, including Microsoft Word, e-mail, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPerfect, HTML, XML, Acrobat PDF, audio, and video. This means you have instant access to your information, regardless of the format of the information.


Highlights search words on cached copy of Word, e-mail and other electronic files, as well as scanned images. Therefore, you quickly see the information of interest, in the documents of interest.

You can also find documents by index fields automatically added to your documents, such as date, path, file name, file type, and size.


High-speed scanning and OCR lets you quickly scan and search your paper documents.


Multi-level security keeps your confidential data confidential.


Document access audit module. This is a searchable database which lets you see each time a document has been viewed, and by whom. This is important to comply with a growing body of laws and regulations concerning confidentiality of information you have about your clients and customers, including medical records (HIPAA), and financial records. This can also help you monitor access to proprietary company documents and intellectual property.

Browser-based search makes searching easy.


SearchExpress automatically captures and indexes your Microsoft Word, e-mail, Acrobat PDF, HTML, XML, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPerfect, JPEG, audio, video and other electronic documents.


SearchExpress also lets you scan, OCR, and retrieve your paper documents.


In addition to full-text retrieval, SearchExpress automatically adds fields to documents, such as a file name and date. You can retrieve documents by these fields, including finding all documents in a given date range.


The SearchExpress search engine Concept Search allows you to retrieve documents based on concepts. For example, a search for GPS would also automatically retrieve documents containing the phrase Global Positioning System


To make documents searchable, you give SearchExpress a list of hard drives or folders on your local-area-network and it will index documents from those hard drives and folders. Click here to see how.


When you specify hard drives and folders to be spidered, you can index all documents in sub-folders or just documents in the listed folders.


You can specify that only users inside your corporation, using their browser, can search the documents.


Or, you could give Internet users access to selected documents.


You can optionally require a password for access to documents.


You can specify how often SearchExpress re-indexes your documents.


You can use a Robots.txt file to exclude certain folders from being indexed.


For the search engine, you can use our own SearchExpress search engine or you can use Microsoft SQL.


After you search and find a hit list of documents, you can click one button to view the document in its native format, e.g., Microsoft Word, and you can click another button to view a cached copy of the document, in HTML format, with the search words highlighted.
