Inventory Director
Description An Inventory or catalog is a collection of information about similar objects or things. Inventory Director is a database program that is designed to assist in organizing and storing information about these collections. Unlike most inventory programs that are currently available, Inventory Director will allow you construct a custom inventory to better suit you needs.
Inventory Director does not limit a user to building and using just one Inventory, The number and size of the inventories is limited only by the size of the storage media being used on the computer. There is one simple Inventory and several inventory templates included with the program. The example Inventory is a phone number list. Before building an Inventory you may want to open the example Inventory and make a few entries.
An Inventory can be created in two ways. You can start with one of the templates that are included with Inventory Director or you can build an Inventory from a blank screen. If one of the template inventories meets your needs, a live Inventory can be created from it without making any modifications. Just use the mouse to grab the lower right had corner of the screen and drag the corner to a location where all the fields are visible along with the Cancel and OK buttons. Then select the OK button to save the Inventory design.
A Home Inventory is included in the download along with several templates for other inventories. These templates include a Library Inventory and a Model Inventory. The Model Inventory can be used for inventories of model cars and model airplanes. You may also use any of the templates as a starting place and modify them to better suit your needs.
