Up until now it was almost impossible to get a good overview of your co-worker calendars and appointments integrated with Outlook. GroupCalendar, a easy to install Outlook add-on, solves that problem in a simple but effective and flexible way.

GroupCalendar can be used with or without a Exchange server. The latter provides a real time overview of all co-worker appointments in one public calendar folder.
If no Exchange server is used, all appointments are stored in a database and periodically synchronized with a sub-folder of the default Outlook calendar.
Each user can be given one or more department names which are written to the appointments in the GC folder. Standard Outlook ''view'' functionality can be used to create filters and views to switch between different groups (department names) or even single users in the same folder.
