zCI is freeware for computer inventory. It is free but contains a lot of corporate feature. zCI has 100% web-based user interface, including its automatic data gathering mechanism. The first is computer inventory. Also, zCI has peripheral inventory capability and facilities to manage device ownerships. Those are capabilitites that even some expensive computer inventory software doesn't have.
