This application runs through a database driven web site.

The software enables a Buying House to maintain updated status of orders from its clients and dispatches from its various vendors on the web server. This information could be accessed by clients present anywhere on the globe, at any time, to review the status of supplies. Application level security has been provided by giving different users an access through a unique Username and Password to maintain department confidentiality so that customers could access information only relating to their orders and shipments, as permitted by the Buying House.

The application offers various advantages to the Buying Houses and their foreign clients as highlighted below:

1. The data regarding orders, items, dates, dispatch etc. is to be keyed in only once. So repetition is totally avoided.

2. The dispatch status, remarks etc. could be updated at any time against an order, item, etc. by the Buying House from its office or even from the location of its suppliers, at any time.

3. The updated status of supplies against the clients orders can be viewed and even reports printed, without losing any time instantaneously. All manual components of work, unwanted expenses and delays are completely avoided.

4. Information can be updated and the foreign client can view updated status at any time, thus avoiding all delays in communication.

5. The application does not require any extra network resources in any form. The basic requirement is a well-configured system having an Internet access with good data transfer speed.
