Multi-Site Distribution
Maginus has an integral multi-warehouse capability so that you can optimise the use of stock from a variety of locations. You can configure sophisticated replenishment paths in a multi-site enterprise, to optimise stock holding and customer service levels. The system has a definable search sequence for stock. For example, if there is insufficient local stock to satisfy an order, a warehouse transfer or a direct shipment from another warehouse can be automatically created.

In addition Maginus provides:

• the facility to designate mother/daughter relationships
• one or more warehouse per sales office and/or multiple sales offices per warehouse
• trunking between warehouses.

In the area of warehousing, Maginus will scale to provide a close fit for simple stock-rooms without location control, to sophisticated operations with hundreds of thousands of square metres of space, and full Radio Frequency (RF) warehouse automation. You can:

• Define the warehouse map in terms of areas, rows, aisles, shelves or any other
configuration that is required
• Define storage types to constrain the handling and storage of products in
particular ways
• Set up pick faces and bulk storage types with automated forward-looking
bulk-pick replenishment.
• Create user-defined stock movements with user-defined rules, to map any
logistics process
• Automatically drive internal
stock movements for
example to replenish picking

• Define stock count by area
or product, and build into a

so that fast moving products
are counted more often to
