OPTISTORE
Description OPTISTORE breaks the traditional mold of the warehouse bin optimisation being placed only according to packaging, weight, dimensions or access frequency.
OPTISTORE is a system for planning the placement of a warehouse and their bin places with one or more item assortments. The goal is the saving of warehouse area through compressed warehouse placement by simultaneous minimization of the picker’s way as well as the equalization of very high frequented areas.
OPTISTORE takes into consideration the different commissioning and restocking strategies; the areas for high and low turnover as well as the availability direction.
OPTISTORE can be used strategically for the permanent checking of the warehouse placements or operatively for the initial planning of the warehouse
OPTISTORE - More than just ABC analysis - The classical ABC analysis observes as a rule only the access frequency of items for the warehouse planning.
OPTISTORE takes over data from almost all current EDP systems and lets the existing structure be integrated without problem.
OPTISTORE delivers the answers to these questions:
Where should which item be placed in the warehouse? Which placement leads to the lowest costs? With which placements occur the shortest paths for the re-stocking and picking? How can very high frequented areas equalized in the warehouse? How should the item placements by the changes of the ordering patterns developed?
