OMI’s TRICEPS Real-Time Warehouse Management System offers a scalable and configurable solution for traditional and e-business fulfillment organizations.

TRICEPS helps increase warehouse service levels, while lowering operating costs, by completely automating location and task management utilizing wireless RF and voice activated technology. Using real-time cube-sizing, and a point system for prioritization of putaway/replenishment, warehouses managed using TRICEPS are among the most efficient in the world. TRICEPS features a Decision Support System with supervisor assistants – real-time controls to monitor available space, work remaining and productivity. All applications are highly flexible and can be tailored to adapt to the clients particular operation with minimal modification of the source code.

TRICEPS is available as a stand-alone solution with integration capabilities with other business systems. The system can also be integrated with new or existing OMI solutions providing end-to-end control of financial, order entry, inventory, warehouse and labor management operations.

Six cross docking methods. Orders may include a combination of cross dock inventory and non-inventory products as well as facility-to-facility transfers, reducing storage/handling and improving warehouse productivity.

Reporting. TRICEPS produces a wide selection of reports which includes areas such as slot books, inventory forms, employee performance, and invoices.

Efficient putaway. TRICEPS tracks all open/available slots and storage locations and directs inbound pallets by height of pallet for optimal fit in the remaining space in rack.

Advanced real-time inventory control techniques. TRICEPS maintains complete inventory status details , uses advanced rotation methods to handle seasonal goods, and receives or ships exact or average weight for exact inventory valuation.

Efficient replenishment. TRICEPS provides accurate order fulfillment in real time with immediate notification of any product shortages. In addition, TRICEPS recommends transfers and automatically escalates priorities.

Labor forecasting. Task management with fully integrated engineered labor standards ensures high productivity rates and achievement of required service levels.
