webMethods Manager
Description Open Management Interface Specification. At the foundation of the webMethods Manager solution is the Open Management Interface (OMI), an open specification developed in partnership with Hewlett Packard, allowing you to choose best-of-breed solutions for managing integration software. It offers a standard interface definition for combining the view of the integration components with views of applications, networks and systems. With the introduction of OMI, webMethods is the acknowledged pioneer in integration systems management.
Manager Console. The second element of the webMethods Manager solution is the Manager Console providing a complete, interactive view of the integration platform. In addition, with partnerships and endorsements from the other three leading systems management vendors, - BMC, Computer Associates and Tivoli - webMethods is the only company that lets you leverage your existing system management infrastructure to manage and gain visibility into your integration environment.
Manager Server. At the heart of the Manager solution is the webMethods Manager Server, which provides the OMI-compliant management services and interface for the webMethods Integration Platform. The Manager Server processes the operational data collected, into information about the health and welfare of critical enterprise systems. It examines the IT landscape and identifies all integration components to create a logical view of the managed components and the relationships between components, to identify interdependencies and speed problem resolution in the event of an outage.
