Pavilion Process Perfecter
Description
Pavilion’s Process Perfecter software solution was the first commercially available dynamic, non-linear, multi-variable Model Predictive Controller (MPC) and is widely applied in a number of multi-variable manufacturing environments. Process Perfecter combines steady-state optimization with model predictive control to deliver an advanced process control solution capable of managing process setpoints and transitions.
Process Perfecter works for single and multi-unit problems and can easily scale to develop a consolidated control strategy for an entire process train. The non-linear capabilities of Process Perfecter make it applicable to even the most complex control problems. The steady-state solver provides move-by-move optimization of process variables.
Process Perfecter features variable dynamics, end-point, and path planning modes to enable production to tailor the operation of the unit to current business conditions. Our parametric approach to the process models means a lower lifecycle cost and reduced model maintenance while avoiding the black box approach to modeling.
