the non-technical user with a powerful, yet flexible database analysis and
reporting tool that can be mastered very quickly. One Up allows you to describe
your database information in the view builder and then write multiple reports
against that data without having to write complex SQL statements. Its simple
drag and drop interface and toolbar make report creation intuitive, yet it is
packed with sophisticated functionality to address the more complex requirements
of the professional analyst. One Up allows you to combine radio buttons, drop
down selectors and conditional edit boxes on a single report, allowing the user
easily to modify these settings e.g. changing the comparisons between different
customers, products, geographical areas etc. The sophisticated data modelling
layer allows for aggregate awareness, time series handling, decoding fields,
creating in-built calculations, functions and more… One Up supports extensive
drill down to allow analysis of the data at deeper and deeper levels. All
reports, including maps and charts, can be printed or added to report packs for
printing in one go. The data from the reports as well as the generated SQL can
be exported to spreadsheets or text files for further analysis in other tools.
