FlexiProjects is an integrated and flexible project accounting solution that enables you to easily manage, track and analyze project driven business processes. FlexiProjects gathers and organizes detailed information from FlexiPurchasing and FlexiPayables, and provides a central repository for all enterprise-wide project data. A user-defined project work breakdown structure provides a flexible means to define multiple project levels to organize each project into tasks, phases, or logical summary groupings. Project analysis and reporting is supported by the ability to track and monitor estimates, actuals, outstanding commitments, encumbrances, allocations and budgets. Variance reporting using period-to-date, year-to-date, or inception-to-date expenditures against multiple budget versions allows organizations to gain maximum control over all types of projects.

You can accumulate both capital and expense amounts for each project. Commitment and expenditure transactions are effective-dated to ensure proper reporting across user-defined accounting calendars. You can directly update FlexiAssets while partially or completely closing out a project. Budgets can be entered at both the project and sub-project level. The total project budget for expenses, capital and tolerance can be entered for the total duration of the project and by period. Users may drill virtually anywhere in the Flexi Financial Suite of products from Projects. This unique capability allows for a complete inquiry audit to be performed.
