What is HelpCORE? HelpCORE is an
application that is in fact a couple of applications in one: Incident and
problem management. Asset management. Maintainence management. The system is
web-based so that you only need a computer and a browser to log into the system.
This allows for the helpdesk to be run on virtually every workstation and os.
HelpCORE works in Windows and Linux/Unix and uses the apache webserver. It is
natively compatible with MySQL. HelpCORE isn't only used by helpdesks but also
by technical services. This way HelpCORE is a software tool that makes uniform
data available to multiple departments.
