SimKit is a software based simulation tool
intended to aid the design, optimisation and in-service operation of a wide
range of industrial, commercial and scientific queuing systems. For example,
automated production lines in manufacturing industry, customer care telephone
call handling systems and queuing behaviour studies for the internal design of
banks and supermarkets. SimKit is also a very useful training tool to increase
awareness of the characteristics of all forms of queuing systems in an easy,

queuing systems have been a subject for the specialist. This is because queuing
systems deal with random events – like the arrival of a customer at a bank. As a
result, quantitative analysis using mathematics rapidly becomes impossible
