The Agency Manager TAM Description

Applied Systems first step in the transformation of the insurance industry was the introduction of The Agency Manager (TAM) in 1983. The industry’s first PC-based software application, TAM made it possible to automate all critical agency and brokerage functions with one system, delivering immediate and dramatic cost savings.

When Microsoft Windows was becoming the dominant platform for PCs, Applied Systems recognized that the technology held great promise for agency automation and developed The Agency Manager for Windows.

Riding the next wave in PC technology, this release of The Agency Manager was the industry’s first Windows-based agency management system. The Agency Manager automates all key functions including the creation and tracking of marketing campaigns, developing custom proposals using Microsoft Word and complete invoicing and reporting. Electronic information exchange with carriers, one of Applied Systems’ long-standing strengths, is easy in TAM.
