ScribeMate allows the user to input dictated information into particular sections of a patients chart note. The insertion point of the note is marked by a ScribeMate Id that is captured at chart note creation time via the keyboard entry form of chart posting.

This feature allows the doctor to touch in the majority of the notes while dictating specialized areas. The specialized dictation is referenced via a ScribeMate Id.

During chart posting many forms will contain a keyboard option either on a list or an actual command button. Typically, this option will be an answer although sometimes it could be a statement.
