DOCS (Doctors On Call Schedule) 2000
allows hospitals and medical practices to create work schedules for their
medical staff. DOCS schedules on-call, operating rooms, ICU, OB ward, clinics,
reading rooms, and so forth. Tailored to each group's individual scheduling
requirements, DOCS accommodates complex rules, requests, and restrictions. You
enter off and on requests - DOCS generates an optimal schedule. Should you wish
to change an assignment, a list of available substitutes is provided. A
sophisticated accounting system tracks history, providing multiple reports that
can be used to examine work distributions. Now integrated with MS Excel, DOCS is
used by a wide variety of specialty medical groups including Anesthesiology,
Radiology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Ophthalmology, and Internal Medicine.
