This program not only calculates an admission nursing RUG, but the Therapy/Nursing mix and RUG perseverance, based on admission information. FutuRUG Intake Solutions assists the intake team by calculating the nursing RUG. Gone are the days of pulling out worksheets to determine if the resident is SE3, SE2, SE1, or any of the other nursing RUG''s. FutuRUG quickly calculates based on the intake information that is entered. As the nursing RUG is formulated you can see it change on the screen. All information on the intake is then sent to the report for the interdisciplinary team to review.

Nursing RUG perseverance is also calculated to let the team know if the intake RUG calculated at admission should persevere through the end of the 8th day. This is important when working with residents who may have a later start to skilled therapy or reduced skilled therapy while thier nursing needs are still high.
