Strategies in Pediatrics" focuses on management.The clinician using this program
has made the diagnosis and is consulting "Treatment Strategies in Pediatrics" to
clarify the goals of treatment,identify treatment options and to choose a
therapy.The user will also be reminded of the likely outcome,what to expect and
when to consider an alternative treatment. Diagnoses include not only those
typically managed by primary care pediatricians,FPs,EM physicians,and nurse
practioners in these areas, but also includes diagnoses that would most likely
be referred to subspecialists.The program will allow the practitioner to rapidly
make therapeutic decisions and talk to patients and their family about expected
outcomes and when to be concerned that the therapy is not working.
