iWay XML Transformation Engine iXTE Description

iXTE accelerates the deployment of EAI initiatives, composite applications, and Web services that automate key business processes that connect systems and people inside the enterprise and beyond. iWay embraces open standards to ensure that projects can be rapidly extended to support changing business requirements.

XML Transformation Engine product highlights:

XML Transformation Workbench provides a GUI environment to define XML transformations and visually map disparate information types. The XML Transformation Engine then uses iWay Intelligent Adapters to connect to over 250 e-business formats, packaged applications, legacy systems, and data, so XML mapping functions eliminate much of the custom coding that traditionally delays integration projects.

A browser-based GUI framework simplifies the creation of Web-services by allowing users to deploy, test, and manage Web services applications by accessing iWays 250 adapters from iXTE or any other Web-services based development tool. The GUI framework is available via ASP.NET or a Java SWING GUI.

Intelligent routing allows teams to rapidly build and deploy composite applications by assembling multiple point projects. iXTE orchestrates the message flow between multiple projects by connecting multiple systems in support of new applications. By calling existing iWay projects as services, companies can fully leverage existing integration work to build applications as business needs change.

Supports all major platforms and standards for service-oriented integration. iXTE embraces whatever platform technology you are working with and is one of the only integration solutions that doesnt bias solutions toward J2EE™ or .NET, so companies dont have to worry about being locked into a single development platform. Supported standards include:

Java Message Service (JMS) to provide customers with a backbone for asynchronous messaging.

Java Connectivity Architecture (JCA) 1.5 for applications and data connectivity to enable service-oriented integration in J2EE environments.

Integration with BizTalk Server 2003 and Visual Studio .NET to speed integration projects in Microsoft environments.

SOAP support which promotes cross-platform connectivity in a distributed architecture.

Enables B2B collaboration with cost-effective Internet EDI, XML-EDI transformation and support for major e-business collaboration standards. Supported standards include:

Drummond Group Certified AS1 and AS2 solution for low cost EDI collaboration over the Internet.

Major vertical EDI standards including ACORD, UCCnet, OMGEO, SWIFT 2003, HIPAA 4010, and 4010A to automate inter-enterprise business processes in key industries like insurance, retail, financial services, banking, and healthcare.

ebXML and OAG Business Object Documents to allow customers to stay on the cutting edge of B2B collaboration via shared business processes that streamline partner relationships.
