How it All Works AuctionMaker helps you through ever stage of an auction. for example. When you are ready to start an auction, AuctionMaker helps you create the ad. You enter information about when the auctions starts, starting price, and other pertinent information. Then, you write the text of the auction, not the general stuff that you have in every ad, but the specific stuff. The genral stuff, you write once, such as policies, conditions of the auction, etc. Once you create the text you want to use, you can select it when you are creating an ad. You never need to write it again. you can have several general text pieces to choose from. After your ad is ready, you can have a nicely formatted ready to post. When you post, you just copy it from AuctionMaker and paste it into the appropriate location on the auction site.
After the auction has ended, you enter the closing information, such as the winner, the winners e-mail address, and the final price. Now, you go to the Email Creater and choose from a list of emails you can send, which you previously customized for you needs. These email templates can include the auction title, item number, user ID of the winner, closing price, shipping, or almost anything else you have entered and they are added to the email automatically. You just select the email and send it off to your auction winner. You can create emails for right after the auction, ones saying you have received payment, one saying you have shipped the product with tracking number, one asking again for payment, or anything you like. The key is that you write your emails once and can use them for all of your auctions. This saves enormous amounts of time.
Once you are ready to ship, you use the Invoice Creater to print an invoice from several layout choices. Each invoice automatically inserts the pertinent details of the auction. Many of the invoices include a sectiona t the top that is a mailing label. just cut off the top part of the invoice and you have a mailing label with all of the required shipping information. This helps you look professional and avoids a lot of confusion when you are shipping a lot of items to different people.
