FatWire Analytics Bridge Description

FatWire Analytics Bridge
makes it possible to gather granular, tailored information about site visitors
without impacting critical site performance. Using FatWire Analytics Bridge,
organizations can tailor site data collection to specific organizational needs.
Analytics Bridge also facilitates the formatting and streaming of captured data
to a third-party analytics engine. Features Event Capture FatWire Analytics
Bridge can capture information related to any site event. For example, Analytics
Bridge can collect information about what pages visitors use, what content is
viewed, or whether an image is viewed or clicked. In addition to collecting
information about the event, Analytics Bridge can simultaneously log pertinent
information known about the visitor. Efficient Logging FatWire Analytics Bridge
collects data in a highly efficient manner. Important event data typically
occurs during high-traffic periods, which is not a ideal time for writing event
data to a database. To ensure optimal system performance, FatWire Analytics
Bridge rapidly streams large volumes of data to a queue. As the queue fills up,
the data is written to disk files that are subsequently moved to a database
during off-peak hours. Analysis Once stored in a database, event data is readily
available for analysis. Analysis can be done by writing simple SQL queries, or
data can be streamed to a third-party analytics engine for sophisticated
reporting and analysis.
