The Kitsite
content management system is a powerful remotely-hosted web application. Based
on Oracle, Java and XML, and using a file-based publishing model, it is both
secure and scalable. The Kitsite CMS is 100% browser-based and does not require
any software installation, allowing a website to be updated from anywhere as
well as reducing running costs. It integrates well with existing IT
infrastructure, runs on both Mac and PC and is able to publish pages to
practically any web server environment. Kitsite is fully extensible—using XSLT,
SOAP and Java—and has excellent support for the UK government's e-GIF
standard.
