Cross-browser/cross-platform WYSIWYG HTML editor for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Netscape and Mozilla web browsers. The editor enables non-technical users to create, edit, and post website content through a WYSIWYG editor without the need to download and install anything on the client side.

Users can set formatting attributes like styles, font names, font size, bold, italic plus many more. To allow the creation of a common look and feel for the website content CSS style sheet support is also incorporated.

Users can easily insert images, Flash animations, Java applets, bookmarks and hyperlinks and set attributes such as borders, width and height. For more flexibility the editor includes advanced hyperlink and media manager dialog windows where users can administrate links and media on the server. Users can also easily insert and edit tables and set table, row and cell properties and dimensions.

More advanced users will find the posibility to switch between WYSIWYG, plain and HTML editing modes useful. WYSIWYG edit mode presents the content with the style sheets applied. Plain editing mode presents the content without the style sheet applied and with visible borders. In WYSIWYG and plain editing modes the user is assisted by a DOM inspector, which displays surrounding HTML tags and attributes for selected content.

The editor is simple to integrate and configure with fully customisable toolbars, a JavaScript API and a stand-alone simple file editor application example in PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, Coldfusion and JSP for use without additional programming and Web applications. There is HTML IFRAME and FRAMESET/FRAME support for toolbars and support for any server-side scripting language.
