Cont·Ray makes it possible to create any website dynamically. The contents of the site are completely separated from the design and layout. This technology allows to realize even complex Internet appearances and Internet portals in a fraction of the time usually needed. The contents can be kept up to date without any programming knowledge and layout changes can be realized without touching the contents and for the whole site at once - easy and quick.
Contents, images, documents and website elements are defined in HTML templates and can be edited with the Cont·Ray administration in your web browser.

The Design/Layout of your website can be arranged any way you like. You create the HTML templates with the layouts you need (e.g. templates for About Us, Products and Contact). Texts, images, menus, navigational elements, form fields, JavaScripts or parameters for forms and style elements are replaced by variables in the templates to make it possible to edit them with Cont·Ray. The navigation is created dynamically, only the layout of the navigation can be set with an HTML template. The administration contains an innovative site management system which virtually mirrors the navigation of the website - you do not have to worry about linking your site or having dead links.

You can use JavaScripts, Style-Sheets (CSS), DHTML and more just like before. The documentation and example templates make it easy to adapt them to Cont·Ray.

Cont·Ray is a software that runs on any server system (i.e. cross-platform) with Perl/CGI support. The basic installation needs only a few minutes.
